RED OWL BOXING EVENT AT ARCHER MUSIC HALL
This was a first for me and it was pretty fun! I was contacted by my friend Pam at the Archer Music Hall in Allentown asking if I could photograph an event they were holding. I quickly said yes, as I saw this as an opportunity to photograph something I never did before. The overall goal for me was to capture the event for the venue.
It was fun to have full access to the event floor to capture the overall atmosphere. I've never attended a boxing event as a spectator let alone as a photographer. It was a little bit of challenge with the ring being lit very well while the crowd was more in darkness. I messed with my camera settings and finally found some good balance.
The venue was a beautiful spot! I would love to go back to see a concert or attend one of the many types of events they hold. The Archer Music Hall is located right in the center of all the social activities in Allentown.
