On August 8th, I was once again surrounded by great people.  I was able to spend the day with 2 very nice families as they witnessed Shannon and Neal tie the knot.

I started my day at Shannon’s parent’s home.  The house was decorated very nicely, and all the girls were there full of energy and ready for the big day.  Shannon was all smiles and also ready for the big day.  All of the neighbors were gathered to see her leave, which was nice.  Those type of neighborhoods are rare today.

I left for St. Mary’s church in Dunmore a little ahead of the ladies.  Neal and the guys were all there and equally ready.

Father Campbell was as great as always for the ceremony.  And then we were off to Nay Aug Park.  Shannon’s family friends are the care takers for the rose garden there so we stopped for photos there as well as other parts of the park.

Our next stop was the Parish Center in Dunmore for a very energetic reception.  These families knew how to have a good time!  I don’t think there was any time that the dance floor was not packed.  I even managed to sneak in a dance with Shannon!
